Utah Psychological Association

The Utah Psychological Association recognizes that variation in the gender-identity or sexual preference of children can be a confusing matter for families.  The US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) collaborated with the Family Acceptance Project to provide families with guidance on supporting their LGBTQ children, and UPA fully endorses their efforts.  Please consult the following resources.  Note that there is specific information for LDS families available.
